Originally Puck-Man in 1980 Japan--then Midway Games broughtin' 'er across the pond(?!). it blew up. Space-shooters were *everywhere*: Pac-Man didn't follow the trend it became one. Simple maze? Dot munching--escaping angry ghosts?: Its ease-of-play? Its ability to attract *literally everybody -- from pro Gamers To the just starting out Crowd!?! What more could you Want It made the genre, the Pac Man style we know so Very very well.
