It's super intuitive— You click trees, and you're in. Chop more wood, get healthier, survive longer. It's a beautiful, surprisingly engaging dance of wood-chopping and self-preservation. One of those “easy to learn, hard to master” games. Think "how difficult could chopping trees *be*?" Trust me. You’ll wish after a while that it would stick the way some jobs you held prior have! The game gets really intense pretty quick, yeah?, you seriously try to live for but a short time-frame.
