Okay, so, you know how much I love a good, free online game, right? Well, Birds vs. Blocks is seriously delightful. It's one of those easy-to-learn-but hard-to-master HTML5 games. Basically, you've got this cute flock of birds, and you gotta fly 'em through obstacles... steering 'em to lower-numbered shields on the way, otherwise it is game over. They're pretty tough, though and although those barriers often feel tricky there is surprising depths to gameplay..

You collect power-ups –bullets and added shields etc— to blast through the sneaky, blocks are really what can make keep your tiny squadron in action, and if and the sound effects? Then, those darn near perfect power ups introduce some super strategic ideas that can keep gameplay going forever that totally changes up you strategising midgame . Oh so tricky early on but slowly raises difficult with levels designed near -perfection in that perfect upward curve in complexity and challenge.
